I'm a bad bad blogger
Well I've been working in a church for almost two weeks and I forgot to blog about it. I am currently serving as an interim pastor of a church a couple of towns away from the one I live in. This is a very exciting opportunity for me. I've always wondered if I was called to interim ministry, there are parts of it that I find very intriguing, such as the constant changing of positions, the intentional work of helping a church in transition, the unique opportunities of stepping into a system that is open for change.
So for at least the next year I'll be walking with this church and we'll discern together where God is calling us to be in this world at this time.

What to blog...what to blog?
This is quite a conundrum. I don't want to expose to much of myself out here yet I also want to be in community out here in the web. I have a unique ministry and if I talk too much about it my secret identity will be revealed. My counselor thinks that it is a bad idea to blog, that somehow I'll get in trouble with something I might say on this blog, however I long for a community of like minded women. So if anyone reading this is a fellow blogger, how do you deal with the "what to blog?" dilema.

I'm a RevGalBlogPal!!!

I am so excited and honored that I have been accepted into the webring. I am a frequent surfer of http://revgalblogpals.blogspot.com/ especially when I am writing a sermon or just needing to connect with other women who are involved in ministry. Through this website I've met some wonderful women from all over the United States. I've also found other websites such as https://www.ravelry.com/account/login (which I call yarn porn, check it out) through the women who are a part of this webring.
I am grateful for this webring and for the Revgalblogpals because at times being a minister can be a very lonely profession. Knowing that there are others available on the internet can take the edge off the isolation.
